Smoke Show BBQ is brought to you by Chef Chris Frothingham of Groton Publick House.

Smoke Show BBQ is the Catering Department out of Groton Publick House. Chris is taking his flavors to the smoker trailer and right to your backyard. Our food trailer allows us to bring GPH on the road and right to your party.

Chef Chris has worked for Todd English in Boston and at restaurants in Seattle and the Mount Hood area of Oregon after turning to food from his out-of-college job in banking. He also graduated from the New England Culinary Institute in Vermont.

Chris is the chef & Partner at the Groton Publick House.

During Covid when all wedding venues were shut down, Chef had the great idea to buy the Smoker Trailer and bring the party to your own backyard.

Since then our Catering and Wedding Department have taken off, allowing us to accommodate all sorts of special events and upgrade our equipment to be able to cook for you right on site.
